Mira Artzi Padan, one of Israel’s most senior yoga teachers, developed the Yoga Nashit (Yoga for Women) approach over a decade ago and has been teaching it ever since.
Yoga Nashit is an exercise approach which adapts the traditional yoga poses to the female body.
The exercise’s character has been adapted to the cyclic nature of a woman’s life and to the changes which occur in her body during the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum phase and menopause.
Yoga Nashit provides women with an opportunity to improve their lifestyle and to alleviate various symptoms which they experience during everyday life. It offers a break from the demanding pace of life, and is suitable for all women, regardless of age and physical condition, whether they have prior experience in yoga or have never previously practiced it.
The book “Yoga Nashit” summarizes the principles of Artzi-Padan’s approach and presents the reader with fascinating and eloquent chapters of philosophy and thought alongside chapters of exercises, written in simple and easily-applicable language.
